Outstanding individuals in student movements honored
PANO - The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Students Association, and the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) jointly held a program on January 5 in Hanoi to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the association’s traditional day (January 9, 1950 - 2025) and honor outstanding students of 2024.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh underlined that following the traditions of previous generations of students, in the 2023-2024 school year, there were 553 students receiving the "students with three good achievements” title, 21 students receiving the “students with good discipline” title, 357 students awarded the “students with five good achievements” title, 57 “collectives with five good achievements” at the central level, and 112 Youth Union officials and associations winning the “January Star” award.

Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee and President of the Vietnamese Students’ Association, emphasized that every student should determine the spirit of continuous learning; strive to seek and acquire knowledge; have active, proactive, creative learning methods, and enthusiastically engage in scientific research.

Through revolutionary action movements, the HCYU and the Vietnam Students' Association, students should actively take the lead, contributing to the successful implementation of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels and the goals of national development by 2030, with a vision for 2045.
During the program, 181 outstanding individuals were honored with the “students with three good achievements” title, the “students with good discipline” title, the “students with five good achievements” title, and the “January Star” award.
