The conference features almost 80 presentations across plenary sessions, parallel sessions and poster sessions, focusing on leading research trends such as point-of-care diagnostics; predictive biomarkers used to anticipate individual responses to therapy; and the development of new tools and platforms for rapid molecular-level detection and diagnosis.

Vo Cao Thi Mong Hoai, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Science and Technology, said the presence of distinguished professors and scientists from top universities and research institutes worldwide reaffirms the academic stature of the event and reflects recognition of Vietnam’s increasing role and ongoing efforts to connect the global scientific community.

During the event, scientists and researchers introduced numerous diagnostic applications in microbiology and pathology, offering participants deeper insights into a rapidly expanding field with the potential to shape the future of precision medicine.

In particular, several presentations highlighted the diversity of molecular diagnostic applications, ranging from human disease detection and infectious diseases to microbial analysis and crop disease management, with many reports demonstrating strong practical value and applicability.
