Speaking at the event, Prof. Jean Tran Thanh Van, founder of Rencontres du Vietnam and Director of the ICISE, said in its development strategy, the center hopes to coordinate with international scholars in the field of science to organize such events like the MIDSEA Summer School, Workshop and Symposium to contribute to scientific development in Southeast Asia.

Prof. Alexander Richard Cook, Vice Dean at Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health under the National University of Singapore (NUS), appreciated the ICISE’s initiative to organize the event which offered an opportunity for young graduates throughout Southeast Asia and beyond to share experiences and learn about their research.
