N.A. leader cares for Da Nang national contributors
PANO – A delegation of the National Assembly (N.A.), led by its Deputy Chairman Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, on July 17, visited and offered incense in commemoration of fallen soldiers at Da Nang city’s and Military Region 5 (MR5)’s War Cemeteries.
MR5’s Second-in-Command Major General Hua Van Tuong and Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang city People’s Committee Ngo Thi Kim Yen joined the delegation.
On this occasion, General Phuong and the delegates laid flowers and offered incense in tribute to fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and unification.

He affirmed that the Party, State and people always bear in mind the contribution of the fallen soldiers, while taking care of policy households. He hoped that the local Party Committee, authorities and people, together with the whole nation, will continue to implement gratitude work and educate revolutionary tradition for the cause of national construction and defense.

Inquiring after wounded soldiers Duong Thi Thu, Tran Thi Ba, and Pham Van Nhat who are living in Da Nang city, General Phuong highlighted that the Party, State and people always treasure the contribution of the revolutionary soldiers, wishing them good health and urging them to continue to educate youths and local people to uphold and promote revolutionary traditions.

The N.A. official also requested the local authorities to take care of the national contributors’ material and spiritual lives, promoting the national beautiful tradition: “When drinking water, remember its source.”
