The mission visited the family of Labor Heroine Nguyen Thi Suot in Bao Ninh commune, during which the visiting delegates offered incense in remembrance of great contribution of Mother Suot to Quang Binh in particular and to the nation in general. They also visited and gave gifts to wounded soldier Tran Thi Huyen and Hoang Quang Thiet, a victim of Agent Orange/Dioxin.
Having visited and presented gifts to local policy beneficiaries, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court asked the local Party Committee and authorities to pay more attention to raising the material and spiritual life for national contributors and policy beneficiaries.
* In Nghe An province, Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan offered gifts to wounded and sick soldiers and national contributors at the province’s Convalescent Home for Wounded Soldiers facing mental disorders and the provincial Convalescent Center for Wounded Soldiers under the provincial Department of Labors, Invalids and Social Affairs.
During the visit, the Vice State President expressed deep gratitude to wounded, sick, and fallen soldiers who devoted their youth to the national independence. She emphasized that the Party and State always pay attention to taking care of national contributors, recognize, honor and express deep gratitude for the losses and sacrifices of fallen soldiers, wounded and sick soldiers and those with great contribution to the nation in Nghe An in particular and the country in general.
* The Department of Logistics of the General Department of Political Affairs cooperated with the People’s Committee of Hang Ma ward of Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem district and Hanoi’s Eye Hospital provided free health check-ups and medicines to wounded and sick soldiers and policy households in the ward.
The activity was to not only mark the wounded and fallen soldiers' day, but also educate the department’s personnel about the national tradition and consolidate the solidarity between troops and local people.
* On July 16, the General Department of Defense Intelligence held a healthcare program in An Son commune, Thuan An city, Binh Duong province. During the event, the general department’s doctors and nurses provided free health check-ups and medicines to 350 policy beneficiaries and needy locals in An Son commune.
The general department also handed over 80 gifts, worth VND 400,000 each, to policy beneficiaries and needy locals and offered incense in remembrance of fallen soldiers at Martyrs’ Stele House of the commune.

Reportedly, since 2015, the General Department of Defense Intelligence has conducted 11 healthcare programs in various localities in the Southeastern region, providing free health examination and medicines for more than 3,700 policy beneficiaries and needy households, presenting over 11,200 gifts, and building five houses to policy beneficiaries and needy people.
* The Army Officer Training School No.2 held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a house to the school’s instructor Major Tran Van Tu. The house was constructed on an area of around 100sq.m. at a total cost of VND 100 million, of which the school donated VND 80 million.
* Ho Chi Minh City’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee conducted a series of practical activities in Con Dao district, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
The delegates offered incense at Hang Duong War Cemetery and Hang Keo War Cemetery; visited and presented gifts to former prisoners of war, fallen soldiers’ families, wounded soldiers, and national contributors in the locality; gave books and computers to Le Hong Phong Secondary School.
On the occasion, the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Department of Culture and Sports, kicked off an exhibition, briefing achievements in national construction and defense cause, socio-economic development, defense and security consolidation and protection of national sovereignty over sea and islands.
