More meaningful activities toward Day for War Invalids and Martyrs

During the event, co-held by the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and the Quang Tri provincial People's Committee, delegates and locals offered incense and flowers at the monument of Quang Tri ancient
citadel, and released flower garlands and colored lanterns on the Thach Han River’s southern bank.
On the occasion, the bank presented gifts to 64 Vietnamese heroic mothers in Quang Tri province.
* A delegation of General Staff organized a series of gratitude activities in the Central provinces. The delegation offered incense and flowers to fallen soldiers at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, the Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery and Special National relic of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the Dong Loc Junction and Vinh Moc tunnels historical relic sites, and offering incense at the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap.
On the occasion, the delegation handled over 4 gratitude houses to policy families in Quang Tri province.
* The Military Region 1 Command, in cooperation with authorities in Luong Tai district (Bac Ninh province), handed over a gratitude house to Mrs. Han Van Te in Thanh Lam hamlet (An Thinh commune, Luong Tai district). She is a wife of martyr Nguyen Van Huynh, sacrificed himself in the national war against American invaders. The command funded VND 70 million to build the house. Previously, the command had instructed subordinate units to build 19 gratitude houses, of which 10 are expected to be completed on the occasion of Day for War Invalids and Martyrs.
