More activities to mark Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day
PANO – The organizing panel for the organization of activities to mark the 70th the Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day (July 27) held its first session on March 2 in Hanoi.

Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, head of the panel, chaired the session.
At the session, the delegates approved a plan to organize programs on the occasion of the 70th Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day (July 27) in cities and provinces.
Along with meaningful activities, the organizing panel also required relevant agencies to review results of implementing policies for national contributors with the aim of building a policy system to more effectively support national contributors in the current context.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung affirmed that the 70th Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day is an opportunity for the Party, State and people nationwide to pay tribute to national contributors. Moreover, the central and local agencies at all levels should conduct more gratitude activities and promote tradition education to succeed in celebrating the event throughout the country, he added.
