On November 1, the mission exchanged experience with teachers and students from Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy. Eighty English-Vietnamese medical dictionaries from the U.S. State Department were granted to students of the school on this occasion to help them improve their command of English.

The following day, the group offered health checkups and free medicines to over 100 children at Da Nang’s Support Center Agent Orange (AO) Victims and Disadvantaged Children.

Earlier, from October 28 to 31, MOA experts also provided health checkups and free medicines to over 500 people with disabilities in Phu Vang district, Thua Thien - Hue province. The mission exchanged experience with students from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Since its establishment in 2009, the U.S. organization has conducted four free healthcare and professional exchange programs in Vietnam to help Vietnamese medical students learn valuable experience from foreign experts. The program has also helped improve the students language skills for their future careers.
