Having received the information, the center immediately sent ship SAR 412 to the scene.

After traveling 400 nautical miles at top speed, the SAR ship approached the troubled boat at 8:30 am on May 13 when the boat’s food and fresh water supply had almost run out and many fishermen were in poor condition. The fishermen were then quickly transferred to ship SAR 412 for medical care.

Later on, the rescue ship towed the boat to the mainland.
