Lotte Marts organize meaningful activities for families and needy people
PANO – Thirteen Lotte Marts nationwide have launched a program of various significant activities for its customers to express deep gratitude to their parents and to raise fund for people in Northern provinces badly affected by recent flash floods and landslides.
On August 26, at Lotte Mart in Go Vap, Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS) and Lotte Mart held a gala program entitled “Message of Love”, during which 130 out of over 500 letters sent to 13 Lotte Marts nationwide from July 25 to August 18 and with the most inspiring and touching words were named, and these messages with gifts will be presented to the writers’ parents as a gratitude to them.

Meanwhile, to partly ease difficulties of disaster-hit people in Northern mountainous areas, over 2,000 staffers of 13 Lotte Marts have messaged VL to portal 1400 and encouraged all Lotte Mart customers to support the program “For people in flood-hit areas” launched by the VRCS from July 8 to September 4.
Each message contributes VND 20,000 to the program whose organizers expect to raise at least VND 1.5 billion to build houses for and support livelihoods of victims of the natural disasters.
