Locals eagerly join activities held by traffic police officers

As part of the event, the Traffic Police force held various practical traffic safety experience activities, attracting a large number of locals and international tourists.

Accordingly, the Traffic Police Division under the Hanoi municipal Police Department coordinated with Sai Dong Driving Test and Training Center (Auto Transport Joint Stock Company No.2) to organize an exhibition space for specialized professional vehicles and equipment used in patrol, violation handling, and delegation escort. Highlighting the exhibition was the fleet of Honda Goldwing motorcycles - modern specialized vehicles frequently used in escort formations - which drew significant public interest.

Besides sightseeing, traffic police officers directly guided locals in recognizing traffic sign systems, disseminated legal knowledge, and instructed them in practicing basic skills for safe traffic participation. Notably, a simulated car driving test area arranged at the exhibition space brought a realistic and vivid experience to visitors.

The event held practical significance, contributing to promoting the glorious heroic tradition and outstanding achievements of the People’s Public Security Advisory Force over its 80 years of building, fighting, and developing. It thereby aroused pride and a sense of responsibility among officers and soldiers, encouraging them to continue their training efforts to build a pure, strong, regular, elite, and modern People’s Public Security force.

Many locals expressed their excitement at admiring and experiencing the specialized vehicles and equipment for the first time. They shared that sitting on a specialized motorcycle was an impressive and rare experience, helping them better understand the hardships and responsibilities of the traffic police force.

The exhibition and experience activities contributed to boosting legal dissemination and enhancing people’s awareness of traffic compliance. The event strengthened the close bond between the traffic police and the community, spreading the beautiful image of the Hanoi’s police officers who are “close to the people and serve the people.”
