According to VNU’s President Nguyen Kim Son, the institution’s cooperation with Viettel is a new cooperation direction based on the two sides’ demands and their responsibilities to Vietnam. SAE will train high-quality human resources in aerospace technologies at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Besides training, SAE will deploy some research projects for civilian and defense purposes.
After 4-5 years of study, graduates will receive a university degree in Aerospace Engineering and have opportunities to participate in aerospace projects of Viettel, the Vietnam Space Center and other units.
The VNU will open a new course in the second semester of the academic year 2017-2018 and enroll first-year students at the VNU’s University of Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, Telecommunication, and Mechatronics Engineering Technology.
