Accordingly, the Laboratory of Chemistry & Hematology and the Laboratory of Microbiology under the hospital won the ISO 15189, which specifies the quality management system requirements particular to medical laboratories developed by the ISO.
In order to meet all criteria for the accreditation, the hospital invested in modern automated equipment, such as the ARCHITECT i2000SR immunoassay analyzer, the Cobas E601 immunoassay module, and the ETI-MAX 3000 microtiter plate analyzer.
They have allowed the hospital to operate by international standards, improve efficiency, ensure reliable test results, and enhance overall healthcare for patients.
The Gia Dinh People’s Hospital, one of the leading medical facilities in the Southern hub, receives around 4,000 patients a day.
