Exhibition celebrates 70th National Resistance Day
PANO – The Military Library held a book and newspaper exhibition themed “70th National Resistance Day” on December 14 in Hanoi.
The week-long exhibition showcased over 500 publications of the Military Library and the People's Public Security Library, helping readers learn more about the Resistance War against French colonialists. The exhibition is organized into five sections: the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; the struggle to protect the revolutionary government under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam; the beginning of the National Resistance War; the Vietnam Resistance War; the 70th anniversary of the National Resistance Day – Historical memories and lessons.
On this occasion, the Military Library held an exchange with the participation of historical witnesses and researchers, including Lieutenant General Pham Hong Cu, former Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, Senior Colonels Vu Tang Bong and Nguyen Manh Ha.
