The event was attended by Vladimir Murashkin, Director of the Russian Science and Culture Center in Hanoi; Assoc. Prof., Dr. Trinh Anh Duc, Director of the Nuclear Training Center under the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute; as well as representatives of Russian universities and Vietnamese scientists.

According to Vladimir Murashkin, the event served as a vivid testament to the traditional and close relationship between Vietnam and Russia. He emphasized that it marks a promising new direction for the educational cooperation of both countries, particularly in the technical field. The program created opportunities to enhance academic exchange, technology transfer, and the training of high-quality human resources, thereby contributing to the advancement of science and technology in each nation.

The event was co-organized by Rosatom Corporation and several leading Russian technical universities, including Moscow National University of Technology, Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, and Tomsk Polytechnic University. It aimed to showcase the prospects and study opportunities available in Russia’s technical and nuclear education sectors. 

As part of the program, students had the chance to gain deeper insights into the nuclear industry and participate in virtual tours of Tomsk Polytechnic University, exploring facilities such as the Virtual Reality Laboratory in Oil and Gas, the Industrial Robotics Laboratory, and the Digital Laboratory simulating the VVER nuclear reactor.

Minh Duc, a student from Foreign Language Specialized School (University of Languages and International Studies, Hanoi-based National University) said, “I’ve been planning to study in Russia for some time, especially in the field of engineering. However, I have yet to decide on a specific major. By attending today’s event, I hope to interact with experts and make the best choice for my future studies.”

The event in Hanoi highlighted Russia’s remarkable progress in science and technology, offering participants an overview of the country’s specialized technical training programs. The event also helped Vietnamese students orient their academic paths and select suitable universities. Moreover, it provided an opportunity for leading Russian technical universities to expand their partnerships in Vietnam, fostering stronger scientific and educational cooperation between the two countries.
