Ensuring warm Tet holiday for mountainous people
PANO - A delegation of 60 doctors and assistant doctors of Viet Duc Hospital provided free health checkups to people in Phong Tho and Muong Te districts of Lai Chau province from January 12-15 on the occasion of the upcoming Tet holiday.

People in Lai Chau province have been suffering from difficulties and hardships. Meanwhile, roads to villages in the province are in poor conditions, crooked and bumpy.
The delegation provided free health checkups and medicines to about 2,300 people in Dao San, Vang Ma Chai, Tung Qua Lin communes of Phong Tho district; and Ta Tong, Nam Khao and Bum To communes of Muong Te district. They also presented 2,300 gifts including 20 blankets, and 200 warm clothing, worth VND 300 million to needy people and students in the districts.
This activity demonstrated the doctors’ affection and care for ethnic minority people in mountainous areas, ensuring a warm traditional Tet holiday for them.
