An awards ceremony will be held in Hanoi on May Day to honour organisations and individuals who have made great contributions to promoting employment of disabled workers.

Awards will be presented in six categories: major domestic corporations and groups, Vietnamese small-and-medium sized enterprises, foreign invested businesses, State agencies and businesses, disabled workers, and other individuals.

A list of candidates for the “Dai bang xanh” (Blue Ribbon) Prize is currently being compiled and winners will be announced on April 20.

The awards ceremony will be organised by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Confederation of Labour.
