The Caen Memorial Museum delegation at the working session

During the working session, which was held to implement the cooperation agreement signed between the two museums, the two sides discussed a cooperation project for the 2025–2026 period, and shared expertise and experience in museology, exhibition design, and artifact management. They also conducted a comprehensive review and assessment of the current exhibition spaces at the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum to develop proposals for renovation and modernization in line with international standards.

Speaking at the session, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province Tran Hai Ha emphasized that both the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum and the Caen Memorial Museum are not only places to preserve historical memory and educate younger generations about history, but also cultural tourism products and destinations that attract domestic and international visitors.

He expressed the hope that the Caen Memorial Museum would share innovative technical and professional solutions in the museum field, while also assisting the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum in artifact preservation, maintenance, and exhibition improvement.
