PANO – The Border Guard Command of Ho Chi Minh City on February 29th handed over two houses in the program “Cozy homes in border area” to two needy border troops in Nha Be and Can Gio district of the city.
The two houses were presented to Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Ngoc Bay and Captain Tran Xuan Long, working at Can Thanh Border Station and Flotilla 2 under the city’s Border Guard Command.

Of the house construction cost of VND 360 million, the Border Guard Command of the city donated VND 120 million extracted from the fund “Cozy homes in border areas”. The command also gave the two beneficiaries a number of household utensils.
So far, the Border Guard Command of Ho Chi Minh City has mobilized resources, built, and handed over 58 houses within the program to needy border troops of Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Dong Thap, Bac Lieu, and Soc Trang provinces, at a total cost of VND 3.4 billion.
