Clean water facilities presented to Central Highlands provinces
The Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) chapter in Ho Chi Minh City on April 12-15 handed over four clean water facilities to the border guard forces and residents in the border areas of the Central Highlands provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Nong and Dak Lak.
The facilities, including water stations, water filter systems and pipeline systems, had a total investment of more than VND 2 billion (USD 86,200), funded by the VFF’s Ho Chi Minh City chapter.

Beneficiaries of the gifts are the Suoi Cat border guard station in Ia Dal, Ia H’ Drai in Kon Tum province; the training battalion of Gia Lai province’s border guard; Krong Na commune in Buon Don district, Dak Lak province; and Thuan An commune in Dak Mil district, Dak Nong province.
According to Trieu Le Khanh, Vice President of the VFF’s Ho Chi Minh City chapter, the facilities will help ensure sufficient clean water for local production and daily life during dry season.
Besides, they help promote solidarity and build strong border defense posture in the Central Highlands.
