Buon Ma Thuot city in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak will host a charity concert held by the US-based Vietnam Association for the Handicapped (VNAH) on April 18.

The evening show will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television before a live audience of 2,000, made up of people with disabilities and ethnic minority people from Dak Lak and 20 other provinces and cities nationwide.

The performance is to show solidarity with the disabled and rally public support, said VNAH Chairman Tran Van Ca.

Recently, the VNAH donated US$32,000 to build a school in Ea Sup district which is expected to open April 18.

Two similar concerts were held previously in HCM City and Danang in December 2006 and December 2008, respectively.
