Vice Chairman of Phuoc Dinh’s People’s Committee Nguyen Xuan Phuong said the prolonged drought seriously affected locals over the past two years.
Thanks to benefactors, locals could afford to buy water containers during the dry season, he said.
In addition to State assistance, Ninh Thuan is mobilising financial resources to build three more water supply systems, including one in Phuoc Dinh commune with total investment of nearly 99 billion VND (4.45 million USD).
