Junior and senior high school students in Vietnam’s southern and central provinces will have the chance to demonstrate their English speaking skills at a competition organised under the aegis of the University of Cambridge English for Speaker of Other Languages (ESOL).

To qualify for the Cambridge English Speaking Competition, candidates in the sixth to ninth grades have to take the Key English Test (KET), and those in the 10 th to 12 th grades have to take the Preliminary English Test, with the top 10 in each test going through.

The top prize for the older contestants will be a four-week English learning course in the UK. The winner in the junior high category will go for a three-week English course in Singapore.
