The closing ceremony of the 6th National Student Startup Day took place at Can Tho University in Can Tho City on May 13. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Can Tho Municipal People's Committee. The event included the final round of the 6th “Students with startup ideas” competition, where the most outstanding startup projects were honored after several rounds of competition.

In the summary report, Tran Van Dat, Head of the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs (MoET), stated, “The 6th “Students with startup ideas’” competition, launched in August 2023, received 707 project submissions within four months, an increase of 199 projects compared to the previous year. After the preliminary round, 465 projects advanced to the semifinals. Out of these, the 80 best projects were selected for the final round of the competition.”
According to the judges, this year's projects were of high quality, addressing practical issues in various fields, such as agriculture, industry, healthcare, and education. Additionally, many projects demonstrated high levels of novelty and creativity, reflecting the efforts of the students.

In her speech, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Kim Chi stated that the awardees were chosen with impartiality and integrity by judges after three days of evaluation (from May 11 to 13), from among thousands of projects. She expressed her hope that businesses and investment funds participating in the event would continue to support the students in nurturing their startup dreams, enabling them to establish startup companies and contribute to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development plan for 2021-2025.
At the closing ceremony, the organizers awarded prizes in both the college and university student and school students categories. A total of 10 first, 20 second, 30 third, and 20 consolation prizes were awarded to the most outstanding projects.
