Speaking at the award ceremony, Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue congratulated the winning journalists for having many high-quality works on Party building. He emphasized that the 7th National Press Awards on Party Building with the name of the Bua Liem Vang Awards in 2022 displayed the explorations, discoveries, and creative work of professional and non-professional journalists across the country. The awards’ organizing panel received positive response and active participation from various press agencies, journalists' associations, journalists, and correspondents at home and abroad as well as from people of all ages, all walks of life, diverse professions and educational levels.

Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue highly appreciated the efforts of the steering committee and the organizing panel of the National Press Award on Party building, who carried out their tasks in a serious, scientific, professional, and effective manner. He also valued the initiative and responsibility of the 34 provinces and cities in organizing the Awards at the provincial and municipal level, creating a lively atmosphere and boosting the information dissemination, and attracting widespread attention of the people to the event. The rich and lively practicality of the country and the significant results in the Party building and rectification work became valuable materials and a great source of inspiration for journalists to create high-quality works on Party building topics, he stressed. This brought to the 7th National Press Awards on Party Building thousands of diverse works on various themes, genres, and aspects, covering all provinces and cities in the country, and being well received and highly valued by readers.
The N.A. Chairman suggested Vietnamese people at home and abroad actively join the Party building and rectification work by practical and concrete activities in a suitable and effective manner. The domestic press should continue to explore, discover, and create outstanding works that truly inspire and contribute to orienting political stance and ideology; popularize good experiences and lessons in a timely manner, and multiply new factors and advanced examples, contributing to strengthening the protection of the ideological foundation of the Party, resolutely fighting against wrongful viewpoints of hostile forces; actively preventing corruption, wastefulness, and negative influences, he added.
The 7th National Press Awards on Party Building received over 2,000 works, including 697 printed, 454 online, 530 television, 293 radio, and 58 photojournalism works.

Most works sent to the organizing panel reflected current issues, prominent events, and top priorities of the country and the political system. Many works promptly covered current issues that attracted public attention such as the implementation of Resolution 13 of the Party Congress, the decisions of the 4th, 5th, and 6th Central Committee Congress (13th tenure); building and restructuring the Party and political system; punishing severely officials and party members who deviated from political, ethical, and lifestyle ideology; fighting corruption and negativity; and developing a culture of morality. Some new and appealing forms of content about studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, highlighting good people, good deeds, and promoting human rights in Vietnam were well received by readers.
Especially, among 63 cities and provinces, 34 ones have organized the provincial-level awards, creating a lively atmosphere in responding to the 7th Bua Liem Vang Awards in 2022 and promoting the work of information dissemination on building the Party and the political system.

The jury chose 74 among 110 outstanding works for the final round to award 6 A, 12 B, 18 C, 30 consolation, and 8 special topic prizes.
In addition, the organizing panel awarded 15 press agencies (including the People's Army Newspaper), the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, the Commissions for Information and Education, and the Party organizations at all levels with outstanding achievements in organizing and responding to the award. The organizers selected a number of typical characters from the winning works to honor.
At the event, the organizing panel also launched the 8th National Press Awards on Party Building in 2023.
