The Vietnamese internet game developer, VNG, on November 22nd signed a contract with the Japanese company of DeNA to export online games to Japan.
The signing has marked the exports of Vietnamese online games for the first time to other foreign markets.
Under the contract, the game, “Pig Farm” produced by VNG will be supplied by DeNA for its Yahoo! Mobage clients in the Japanese market.
Yahoo! Mobage is a social online games website operated by DeNA and Yahoo Japan.
In addition, DeNA and VNG are cooperating in writing the Japanese version for VNG’s game of Sky Garden in order to early introduce it into the Japanese market.
The General Director of VNG, Le Hong Minh, said that after some time importing online games from its foreign partners, the company has now been developing its own online games.
“VNG expects that the company will expand its exports of online games via its cooperation with DeNA in the Japanese market and other markets, as well,” said the General Director.
