Lao police officials had a meeting and worked with a Vietnamese delegation of the Vietnam Police Department headed by Deputy Chief of the department, Major General Cao Xuan Hong.
The two sides informed each other of recent situations in the two countries, exchanged experiences and lessons, and assessed the results of cooperation between the two forces in the fight against transnational crime.
The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation in areas of common concern like prevention and investigation of transnational crime, especially related to drugs, and increase exchanges of experience and training.
