The meeting was attended by Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7 Major General Do Van Banh, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization and President of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Van Loc, and representatives from agencies of the Defense Ministry and the provincial Military Command.
At the meeting, candidates presented their action plans and expressed their desire to join the district’s leadership and people’s efforts in promoting local socio-economic development in the coming time.
Speaking at the event, General Cuong said, he was pround to be nominated as a candidate for the 15th NA in constituency No.4, including Cay Truong II and Tru Van Tho and Lai Uyen town of Bau Bang district of Binh Duong province. He recalled famous victories in the district during the resistance war for national salvation in the past as well as the achievements in socio-economic development gained by the district’s Party Committee, authorities, armed forces and people over the past years.
Founded in 2013, Bau Bang district has been an important gateway connecting trade activities between Binh Phuoc and Central Highlands localities and Binh Duong province. In recent years, the district has carried out many key projects and paid attention to high-tech development.

General Cuong confirmed that if he is elected as a deputy to the 15th NA, he will promote his responsibility and keep close contact with the district’s Party Committee, authorities, socio-political organizations, and people. He will spend time listening to and convey voters’ opinions and aspirations to higher levels. Cuong affirmed that he will propose measures to raise the effectiveness of socio-economic development and defense and security consolidation programs in the district.
At the meeting, voters in Bau Bang district showed their high consensus on candidates’ action plans and hoped that the candidates will make contributions to the development of the district in particular and the nation in general. Once elected, candidates will develop various channels to collect voters’ opinions and aspirations, voters wished.
Voters pledged to mobilize their families and community to exercise their voting rights at the upcoming election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure on May 23.
