Through its extensive system of publications, thematic volumes, forums, workshops, scientific seminars and communication activities, the publishing house has actively shaped public opinion, defended the scientific and revolutionary nature of Marxism - Leninism and Ho Chi Minh’s thought, and countered distortions aimed at undermining the Party’s leadership and the great national unity bloc.
The N.A. Chairman urged the publishing house to accelerate innovation in editing, publishing and distribution, ensuring works remain rigorous, scientific and modern, and at the same time accessible and easy for readers to absorb. He called for continued improvements in the quality of publications, ensuring correct political viewpoints, and effectively serving the country’s renewal process and sustainable development goals.
He stressed the need to strengthen scientific research as a strategic pillar alongside editing and publishing. Publications must directly contribute to the development of the Party’s theoretical foundations and to building a strong, sustainable ideological basis for the country in the coming period.
Chairman Man also underscored the importance of building the publishing house into a model institution in Party building and Party culture. Its cadres and members must demonstrate their steadfastness, integrity and a spirit of service, remain exemplary in words and actions, and place the interests of the Party, the State and the people above all else, he noted.
The top legislator further requested comprehensive digital transformation, gradually digitizing and standardizing resources to expand access to knowledge for all officials, Party members and citizens. This includes adopting new technologies, artificial intelligence and big data in editing, publishing, archiving and dissemination; developing multimedia publishing systems; and building digital libraries and electronic bookshelves for unified use throughout the Party, the political system and society. Political publications must be readable, audible and viewable across multiple digital platforms.
