Addressing the congress, Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong held that the ministry's judicial activities have been continuously enhanced thanks to the implementation of emulation movements, positively contributing to developing socio-economy, national defence and security as well as promoting the country's external affairs. The honourees this time are the best individuals and groups, representing nearly 30,000 judicial staff of the ministry, he added.
At the event, delegates listened to reports of the achievements of the ministry's staff with the State's and the Party's noble orders and titles over the past years. On this occasion, the ministry was honoured with the first-class Independence Order in celebration of the 70th anniversary of its traditional day (August 28th 1945).
