With permanent NA Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong in chair, 31 deputies discussed regulations on the ban of selling alcohol and beer on the Internet, alcohol and beer advertising management, measures to reduce their harmful effects, awareness campaigns and responsibilities of organizations and individuals in the field.
Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien explained in details issued raised by lawmakers.
Phong asked agencies concerned to continue acquiring public feedback to refine the bill.
Under the chair of NA Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien in the afternoon, 17 lawmakers offered opinions about the draft Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Law on Public Investment, focusing on openness and transparency in public investment, banned behaviors in public investment, criteria for classification of key national investment projects, and the duty and responsibility of the People’s Councils and their permanent members.
Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue later made clear several issues of concern.
Hien required relevant agencies to collect deputies’ opinions about the draft law to submit to the seventh session of the 14th legislature.
On November 17, NA agencies will work on their own agenda.
On November 19 morning, the legislature will look into the draft amended Law on the Execution of Criminal Judgments.
In the afternoon, deputies will adopt the revised Law on Amnesty, the Law on Cultivation, the Law on Animal Husbandry, the Law on Vietnam Coast Guards, the Law on amendments and supplements to some articles of the Law on Tertiary Education.
