Legislature to question about issues closely related to people
The 14th National Assembly (NA) will question cabinet members, the Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court, the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the Auditor General of the State Audit Office of Vietnam.
The question and answer sessions will last from October 30 to November 1 as part of the 14th NA’s sixth session.
This is one of the most important activities of the session, attracting the attention of a large number of voters and people across the country as matters questioned will be closely related to the people.
The legislature will spend three days on listening to reports of the above-mention agencies, and other questioned people on the implementation of the NA’s resolution on special supervision and Q&A activity from the beginning of the NA tenure to its fourth session.
After listening to these reports, NA deputies will question cabinet members, the Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court and the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuracy on relevant issues.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will clarify some issues related to the responsibilities of the Government, and directly answer questions raised by NA deputies.
In order to strengthen the dialogue and debate in parliamentary activities, this session has continued to maintain improvements and renewal of question and answer activities which was implemented effectively at the previous session.
