The Japan ICT Day 2010

Vietnam - Japan Information and Communication Technology Day 2011will open tomorrow at the Hanoi Information Technology and Transaction Centre, 185 Giang Vo, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi on November 24th as part of efforts to promote the IT cooperation relations between Vietnam and Japan.

The Day, with the participation of 20 Japanese entrepreneurs and many Vietnamese counterparts, is jointly organised by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) and the Vietnam-Japan IT Cooperation Club (VJC) under the sponsorship of Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communication and the Japan IT Services Association.

The Japan ICT Day, held annually since 2007, offers opportunities to members of VJC and IT businesses of the two countries to meet, exchange and share information and experiences on IT. 

Major parts of the ICT Day 2011 are the two seminars: “Japan-Vietnam IT Cooperation toward Vietnam market” and “Develop human resources for the long-lasting IT Cooperation between Vietnam and Japan” to review the situation of Vietnam’s IT and the prospects of Japan-Vietnam IT cooperation as well as share cooperation experiences with each other.

The Day will also provide opportunities for businesses and individuals to get more understanding from each other and then promote the cooperation relations between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses in IT.
