During these meetings, representatives of the province’s N.A. deputy delegation informed voters about their recent activities and the agenda of the upcoming sixth session of the 15th National Assembly. After listening to their report, the voters from Tho Xuan and Yen Dinh districts raised their questions with a focus on various issues, including policies of social welfare, land compensation, education and training, and more. Some voters also raised concerns related to the development of rural transportation infrastructure, supporting policies for production, and policies for national contributors.

Addressing the meetings, General Luong Cuong expressed his sincere appreciation for the democratic, straightforward, and heartfelt opinions and suggestions put forth by the voters. He provided the voters with information related to the global and regional situation and its impact on politics, economy, society, defense, security, and foreign relations of various countries, including Vietnam.
The Director of the General Department of Political Affairs commended the achievements of the authorities and the people of the two districts in the first nine months of 2023, especially their efforts in overcoming challenges and fulfilling plans in all areas. He emphasized that the political stability, law and order, and social safety in both districts have remained steadfast. The two districts have successfully organized local defensive area exercises and promoted the socio-economic development associated with building new-style rural areas, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the local residents.

On behalf of Thanh Hoa province’s N.A. deputy delegation, General Cuong welcomed the opinions and proposals of the voters. Issues raised by voters that fall within the authority of the local government were discussed and clarified. Issues under the jurisdiction of the central agencies would be responsibly conveyed to the National Assembly, the Government, the Party, and central ministries, and agencies.
On this occasion, General Cuong presented 100 gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to policy beneficiaries, revolutionary contributors, and disadvantaged families in Tho Xuan and Yen Dinh districts.
