Voters then gave their opinions about contents related to social welfare in mountainous areas, land clearance and compensation, education and training policies for ethnic minority and mountainous regions, rural transportation infrastructure in mountainous areas, irrigation and water supply for domestic use, socio-culture, production support policies, investment and construction, and environmental resources.

Speaking at the meeting, Gen. Cuong highly appreciated the democratic, straightforward, and dedicated spirit reflected in opinions of voters from various communes and townlets in the district. The GDP’s Chief said that the global and regional situation has had profound impact on politics, economy, society, national defense, security, and foreign affairs of many countries, including Vietnam. He emphasized that the country's socio-economic situation continues to maintain a positive trend; social welfare and gratitude activities have been paid due attention to by all levels, sectors, and localities; defense, security, foreign affairs, Party building and rectification, and anti-corruption affairs have achieved positive results, contributing to further strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the leadership at all levels.
The GDP’s Chief highly appreciated the outcomes achieved by the party organization, authorities and people of Quan Son district in the first months of 2024. He said that voters’ opinions at the meeting demonstrated their trust in the drastic, creative, and effective leadership and direction of the local party committee and authorities.
On behalf of N.A. deputies, Gen. Cuong welcomed voters’ opinions and proposals and promised that the delegation of N.A. deputies of Thanh Hoa province would submit them to the N.A. and authorized agencies for thorough consideration.

Also at the event, Cuong updated voters in Quan Son on the whole military’s implementation of military and defense mission and the building of Military Party Organization in 2023 and the first months of 2024; the preparation for the upcoming celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. He affirmed that in any circumstances, the Vietnam People’s Army will always be absolute loyal to the Party, State, and people and ready to undertake and successfully fulfill assigned missions.

On this occasion, Gen. Cuong handed over 100 gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to policy families and needy households in Quan Son district. The Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) and the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) handed over donations to assist the construction of 100 houses for policy families and needy households in the district.
