Praman Phet said he had work on a Thai fishing boat for several months. But recently he was transferred to a Malaysian fishing boat. Disappointment with his treatment on the ship, he tied his belongings to two plastic life buoys and jumped onto the sea on February 24 in a bit to flee the ship.
On March 11th, Ba Ria – Vung Tau’s authorities prepared the paper procedure to send Praman Phet Anan back to Thailand.
