PANO – 282 representatives of excellent children were offered a trip to the native land of President Ho Chi Minh at the Sen (lotus) Village in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.

During the visit, the delegates laid wreaths and offered incense to show their deep gratitude to Uncle Ho and listened to stories about his childhood and his journey to seek the way for national liberation.

All the delegates expressed their delight and honour to visit the place where Uncle Ho was born and promised to study hard as a token of gratitude to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the present generation.

The same day, a ceremony to start the construction of “Red Scarf” house for Nguyen Duc Loc, a needy member of the Union of Vietnamese Children, was held in Hong Son 1 hamlet, Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district. The house funds for the construction were raised by children across the country.
