PANO - The Department of Publication, Printing and Distribution of the Ministry of Information and Communications held a conference themed "E-books publication" on December 15th in Ho Chi Minh City, to collect opinions from individuals and groups majoring in e-books publishing to promote the sector.

All delegates agreed that Vietnam's e-books market has received inadequate development for its potential, and the sector is facing adversities due to the status of copyright infringement and the limited e-commercial infrastructure. They suggested the functional agencies should continue completing the legal system; while the publishing houses should build appropriate strategies for their development such as strengthening investment capital, facilities and human resources for the e-books sector.
