PANO - Some 60 veterans of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in Ho Chi Minh City will join a program “Visiting the old battlefield” in Dien Bien Phu later this month.

At a press conference yesterday in Ho Chi Minh City, the Traffic Safety and Community Development Fund and Mai Linh Group, the co-organizers of the program informed that the tour will start on June 27th.

In four days, the participants will tour historical relics in Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien Province, exchange with troops of Brigade 82 of Military Zone 2 and students of some universities.

To ensure the program a success, all participants have their health checked before the tour.
