PANO –The Dong Loc T-junction in Can Loc district, Central province of Ha Tinh, has entered the national history as a legendary place.
This place keeps an eternal and sacred flame honoring the resilience, faith and purity of those who have devoted their lives to the national salvation cause.
At the T-junction of Dong Loc, ten young female volunteers like pure flowers, together with their comrades, bravely maintained the lifeline of transportation under the enemy’s bombardment. They laid down their lives in enemy’s bombing and became a symbol of brave and heroic sacrifices of Vietnamese youths for the revolutionary ideal and for national independence and freedom. They have also been regarded as ten immortal flowers of youths in the Ho Chi Minh era.
On the occasion of the 68th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Volunteers, 71st War Invalids’ and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), and 50th death anniversary of the ten Dong Loc T-junction female volunteers (July 24), nearly 300 veterans of associations of Truong Son tradition, former youth volunteers, victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province have jointly organized an art program entitled “Singing for you” right at the common grave of the ten Dong Loc T-junction female  volunteers.
PANO introduces touching moments of the program and gratitude activities at the old “fire coordinate”.
