Since its operation, the Ho Chi Minh City startup ecosystem has seen the establishment, development and success of various businesses.
Notably, a startup ecosystem at Ho Chi Minh University of Technology provides a convenient space for 200 individuals to start a business. The university has given direct assistance to nearly 50 projects and successfully connected the startups with investors in five other startup projects.
To further develop the Ho Chi Minh City startup ecosystem, delegates recommend the city to make plans and specific action programs for each field and activity of the ecosystem’s executive board.
Besides, the city should build more startup incubators, data system for startups while providing legal and financial assistance, appraising startup ideas, boosting connections between startups and big businesses and customers to bring about real values for the society.
Various participating OV businesses agreed that the meeting opened good opportunities for Vietnamese students at home and abroad to learn from experiences, share information and to connect with businesses all over the world.
