Nguyen Kang Wun Ching, Miss Tourism at the Miss Vietnam Global 2007, has handed over to representatives of the Overseas Vietnamese communities in Munich and some other areas in Germany 700 USD to build a school in the northern border province of Bac Kan in Vietnam.

Wun Ching was warmly welcomed by her family and friends upon her return to Germany to prepare for her studies in the US.

She said that during the time in Vietnam, she was deeply impressed by beautiful tourist sites in Vietnam and moved to see poor conditions facing many people, particularly children. Thus, she wanted to make contributions to building a school for these children.

On holidays, she will take part-time jobs to earn money to send to charitable activities in Vietnam, added she.
