Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tri, in his speech, extended his best wishes to the Vietnamese working and studying in the Eastern European country.
He told them that the Party and State always highly appreciate the role of the Vietnamese abroad, who form an inseparable part of the nation, and pledged every possible support to them.
Addressing a get-together in the Vietnamese embassy in Sweden on February 17, Ambassador Tran Van Hinh attributed a part of Vietnam’s 2014 achievements to the Vietnamese communities overseas, including those living in Sweden and international friends.
Participants said they always stand in unity and look towards the nation.
Earlier on February 10, the embassy also convened a meeting of Swedish friends who have a close attachment to Vietnam.
