Over 200 Vietnamese European youths will descend on the Czech Republic's capital city of Prague, from July 10-14 to attend a seminar on Viet Nam and its young people.

The programme has been established to aid Czech, German, Polish, Austrian, Slovakian, Hungarian, Russian and Ukrainian of Vietnamese origin become better informed about Viet Nam's history and culture, government policies and in particular the States views on the overseas Vietnamese community in general.

Following the Czech meetings, the Viet Nam Summer Camp 2007 will take place inside Viet Nam from July 18-31. Over 70 young overseas Vietnamese students from 24 countries will attend the annual event that will be held in the northern, central and southern regions of the country.

During the camp, attendees will meet with Party and State leaders, visit museums and historical sites, attend cultural exchanges and participate in a volunteer programme to help storm victims from central Da Nang city.
