Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau said the exhibition is part of Vietnam Month which aims to celebrate the three years of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.
Over the last three years, in addition to outstanding results in the fields of politics-diplomacy, security-national defence, trade-investment and science-technology-education, the countries have teamed up to arrange various cultural exchanges, the diplomat noted.
This is third exhibition of Vietnamese painting held in that time, offering Indian friends a chance to gain an understanding of Vietnam’s contemporary arts, he added.
