Exhibition highlights the beauty of Russia
PANO – A photo exhibition themed “Russia in my heart” was opened in Hanoi by the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association’s Central Committee, in association with the Bach Duong (Abele) Magazine and Vietnam Women’s Museum.
This was part of activities in Vietnam to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a treaty that formed the basic principles of the Vietnam-Russia friendship (June 16) and in recognition of the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties (January 30) in 2020.

The exhibition is displaying nearly 150 photos captured by five Vietnamese journalists, including Lieutenant General Le Phuc Nguyen, former Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Army Newspaper, during their stay in Russia.
The photos introduce beautiful landscapes across Russia and important historical moments in the Vietnam - Soviet Union/Vietnam - Russia relations such as a spaceflight made by Vietnamese astronaut Pham Tuan and Soviet cosmonaut Viktor Gorbatko in 1980.
The authors hope that the photos on display will help Vietnamese people learn more about Russia and contribute to expanding the friendship between the two peoples.
