Opening the event, Le Chi Loi, in charge of the management of Vietnamese students in Russia, said the camp provided a playground for Vietnamese students in Russia to meet and inspire each other in their study. He appreciated the hard work made by the students, not only in their study, but also in developing relations between Vietnam and Russia.

Do Xuan Hoang, head of the Association of Vietnamese in Russia, said he hopes that when the students come back to Vietnam, they will always keep in their hearts the memories of Russian hospitability and friendliness and continue writing positive reviews about Vietnamese people in Russia.

For two days, the students participated in various team games and enjoyed a music show, a campfire, and a firework display.

According to Hoang, the camp’s games motivated the students to think creatively and actively in order to complete set tasks. Themed “The Battle for Survival,” the games aimed to help them learn that each person will come across many challenges in their life, and they can push through these difficulties with the help of their team.

Throughout the games, the students improved their teamwork skills and learnt how to stay united and respect each other in order to win challenges, Hoang said.
