The construction of site started in February this year. It includes a memorial house, memorial steles for heroic martyrs of special team HP 19 with the task of picking up unnumbered ships at Hon Heo Pier, Ninh Van commune.
The site would help young generations understand better about the hard struggle against the enemy and the heroic sacrifice of troops on Ship C235.
These troops have set bright examples of the revolutionary heroism glorifying the "golden tradition and history" of the Vietnam People's Army. The site was recognized as a national levelhistorical relic in 2014 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
