* Earlier, 25 returners, natives of Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Quang Ninh and Long An provinces arrived at Van Don International Airport on June 29.
To ensure COVID-19 prevention and control work, medical forces of the Quang Ninh provincial Military Command, in coordination with Uong Bi city’s medical center, carefully checked their health. The Vietnamese expats have all tested negative for COVID-19 and are in good health.

During the 14-day quarantine, the citizens were provided with necessary supplies and had their health monitored. After the quarantine, all 25 have been given the all-clear and handed over to their localities.
So far, over 1,000 Vietnamese citizens completed quarantine at Regiment 244. The unit is now ready to receive more Vietnamese citizens returning home from epidemic-affected areas.
* On the same day, Regiment 125 under the Hai Duong provincial Military Command handed over the all-clear to 89 people who completed their COVID-19 quarantine period.
Earlier, carrying these returners, Vietnam Airlines flight VN0018 landed at Van Don International Airport on June 29. After that, Regiment 125 received 89 people for quarantine, including 43 men and 46 women, returning from France.
During the 14-day quarantine, all citizens had their health monitored daily and were tested for SARS-CoV-2 virus at least twice. All of the citizens tested negative.
Upon returning to their hometowns, they will continue their home quarantine and have their health monitored for the next 14 days.
