Troops enjoy spring program
PANO - A spring program for troops themed “Spring comes to beloved border areas” was held on January 10 by the Department of Politics of Military Region 7, Radio-Television Center and Binh Phuoc Newspapers, and the Bu Dop commune's People's Committee.
The program aims to promote information dissemination on the MR 7 armed forces' activities, encourage troops undertaking missions in border areas and on islands to fulfill their missions, and to take care of policy families and other needy households during Tet.
The Spring program included various activities such as offering incense at the Memorial Monument of Bu Dop commune, visiting and presenting gifts to policy families, organizing sporting events, and recreational activities for troops.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Cong Anh, Deputy Political Chief of Military Region 7, stressed that these activities are practical as they show the care of the mainland people for troops and encourages them to fulfill their assigned missions.
During the event, participants took part in an exchange program with people living near military watch points.
On the occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Phuoc province presented 100 gifts to troops and local people in Bu Dop commune. The organizing panel also gave gifts to religious dignitaries and village patriarchs in the commune.
